Today I have received some help from Fredrik Almlöf who kindly read through the pages of this site and spotted a few errors. This kind of feedback is most valuable as despite all my effort with proof-reading there are always a few typos and other errors that seem to escape me. I corrected these right away.

I also hope to receive similar feedback with the forthcoming parts of the book as they appear online. With some luck I should be able to start posting new chapters during next week… Just today I have been working on the asessment of the difficulties at Supermarine to fulfill the first Air Ministry contract no. B527113/36 for 310 Spitfires Mk. I placed on 3 June 1936. The draft of this part of the book has been completed before, but I felt that some details of my analysis needed adjustment and clarification.

I also have a lot of links to share. A very good resource regarding Spitfire production in the Spitfire Production and Contracts, which has an ambitious goal of tracking down the production lists for every Spitfire and Seafire ever built.
