Please note that even for a simulator, that’s some display flying (by Ben Lavender) and a well-produced video. Also, the aircraft shown is the very Spitfire MH434 that Ray Hanna flew on his displays (and just as low) for over 30 years.
A reflection comes to mind that maybe what we see in this video is the future of vintage air displays. As the virtual reality technology improves, in 10 years’ time we might be gathering on the internet to experience air displays, with virtual aircraft flown by experienced virtual pilots roaring over our heads in precision display routines and mock dogfights.
It’s not untinkable.
