A flight of Spitfires Mk. I from No. 65 Squadron fly in formation for the benefit of official RAF photographer, 1939. No. 65 Squadron carried the FZ code letters only before the outbreak of war. The nearest aircraft marked as FZ-L, K9906 was also the first to be delivered to the unit in May 1939. It was probably flown here by Sqn/Ldr Robert Stanford Tuck.
