Here is a clip from commercial DVD called A Spitfires Story, showing one of the most popular Spitfires flying today, Mark IX ser. no. MH434. It is flown here by the late Mark Hanna who repeatedly beats up the Duxford airfield, flying straight towards the cameraman. As he banks away and around the field you get that classic beautiful silhouette of the Spitfire against dramatic cloudscapes. Spectacular, graceful and well filmed. It’s such a wonderful aircraft in the hands of a fine pilot.
