I found this interesting slideshow produced to accompany BBC Radio 4′s programme. Presenter Evan Davis was shown around a workshop at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, where a wreck of No. 19 Squadron Spitfire Mk. I recovered from a Dunkirk beach is being restored to airworthiness – literally in the same workshops which cared for it back in 1940 when it went to combat.
Worth watching.
