Without a doubt, the National Museum of the US Air Force in Wright-Patterson, Ohio is one of the premier aviation museums in the World.
Here is a fantastic online feature from the museum which allows you to take a virtual, full-screen, self-guided tour of the entire exhibition – all aircraft grouped in the eight massive halls, plus the grounds surrounding the buildings. The visitor can navigate from gallery to gallery either by using a convenient drop-down map or by following navigational arrows connecting the individual “stops”.

Don’t miss it. And, if you haven’t been to the site previously, here’s a challenge: find a Spitfire!
